Outdoor: Chevron/Daniel Burnham Court
Many cities require private developers to allocate a percentage of their building construction costs for on-site public art. We are experienced in working with developers and cities to select or commission works that meet these requirements.
We reviewed artists throughout the United States and Canada before commissioning a sculpture for the Daniel Burnham Court lobby in compliance with the city’s public art ordinance.
Boston artist Obie Simonis was selected for this Percent For The Arts project in an international competition that we created and managed for an apartment complex in downtown San Francisco. The sculpture is visible to street traffic, as well as visitors to the building.
